Erasmus+ aims at boosting skills and employability, and modernising Education, Training and Youth work, providing opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad. In addition to providing grants for individuals, Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships among Education, Training and Youth institutions and organisations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of education and work, and supports also national efforts to modernise Education, Training and Youth systems. The field of Sport is also approached, supporing grassroots projects and cross-border challenges such as combating match-fixing, doping, violence and racism.
Erasmus+ Key Action 3 covers the area of Supporting Policy Reform. A call has been issued in the area of European Policy Experimentations with the general objective of promotion the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of education and training systems and youth policies through the collection and evaluation of evidence on the systemic impact of innovative policy measures.
This call requires the involvement of high-level public authorities of the eligible countries and the use of sound and widely recognised evaluation methods based on field trials (experimentation).
An estimated budget of €14 million is available for this call, with €12 million available for Education and Training and €2 million for Youth. Grants are available for up to 75% of total eligible costs.
The deadline for pre-proposals is 14 April 2016 – 12.00 noon CET. The deadline for full proposals is 13 October 2016 – 12.00 noon CET.
A webinar for interested applicants is organised by EACEA and European Commision on 17 March 2016.
