Following the Brokerage Event “Going green in Seventeen” jointly organised by AER and ERRIN, we are glad to share with AER member regions two project proposals on green buildings that have been discussed during the break-out sessions.
1) BTG BIM – Technology & Green Construction Skills Training Module(s) – A Transparent Training Model towards a Greener building environment
This project is led by Belfast Metropolitan College, one of the largest colleges in the UK providing further and higher education. It is designed in the framework of Horizon 2020, EE-14-2016-2017 call Topic: “Construction skills” and it aims to develop a training module for construction skills based on a prototype building example using BIM.
In order to complete the consortium, Belfast Metropolitan College is looking for the following partners: construction industry professional manufacturers and suppliers, renewable energy sector partners, architectural and engineering companies, employment consultants, large companies and SMEs, politicians, officials, state institutions, teachers, trainers, students, VET providers and employees (especially persons out of work).
The deadline of this call is on 7th June 2017.

2) Smart-SGE – Establishment of an easy installation Universal System of SGE for retrofitting Buildings
The Ceramic Industry Research Association (ITC-AICE), a private non-profit Research Institute recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, is preparing a project proposal aimed to develop new intelligent solutions to increase the implementation of geothermal systems in retrofitting buildings. The proposal will be submitted in the framework of Horizon 2020, LCE-17-2017 call Topic: “Easier to install and more efficient geothermal systems for retrofitting buildings”.
The lead partner is searching other partners for the consortium, in particular: Universities/ RTOs, geologist associations, financial partners, citizens’ associations, standardisation & certification entities, ICT companies and public administrations.
The deadline of this call is on 7th September 2017.
