France: a new map of regions

Following months of debates about the regional reform in the country, the French parliament has adopted a new map of regions. Their number will decrease, from 22 to 13 on the mainland, no change being made in the overseas regions.

AER has contributed to the discussions and will monitor together with its French members the details of the implementation measures.
