The Zero Project -an organisation focusing on the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities, and one of our partner network- has opened a call for nomination (deadline: 15 May)

1.What is the initiative about?

Work is essential for realizing other human rights and it forms an inseparable and inherent part of human dignity. Employment of persons with disabilities is about the opportunity to gain a living by work freely chosen or accepted in a labour market and work environment that is open, inclusive and accessible.

Hence, the Zero Project 2017 is focusing on Work, Employment, and Vocational Education and Training and invites leading experts and organisations to nominate innovative policies on this topic.

Innovative Policies can be laws, regulations, standards, strategies, programmes, adopted by local, regional and national parliaments, governments or public authorities.

2.Which is its outcome?

The “Innovative Policies 2017 on Employment” will be selected by the Zero Project network of experts in a multistep process, and will be featured in the Zero Project Report 2017, on its website www.zeroproject.org and on social media platforms. Furthermore, their representatives will be invited to speak at the Zero Project Conference in Vienna (Austria) in February 2017.

 3.How to apply?
Submitting a nomination is easy: first, read the instructions and then complete the nomination form (also available in other languages):http://zeroproject.org/downloads/. For further information, don’t hesitate writing to [email protected].

Please send the completed nomination form to [email protected] by May 15, 2016; 23:59 Central European Time (CET).
Anyone can nominate!

The Zero Project team is looking forward to receiving your nomination!
