CANCELLATION OF THE AER SPRING COMMITTEE PLENARY IN COVASNA

Dear AER members,
Due to the worsening situation of the Coronavirus COVID-19 in Europe over the last two days, especially in the countries where most participants of the AER Committee Plenary come from, the expert authorities have advised us to cancel our meeting next week in Covasna.
This advice has been given to us in order to contain the spread of the disease among our members and staff but also to avoid spreading COVID-19 to areas where the number of people having contracted the virus is very limited, such as Romania.
It is our duty to do our share in preventing further propagation of the virus.
We know you will understand the exceptional nature of this decision.
We would like to thank our host region, Covasna, for their understanding and support in this decision.
We will be in touch with you about other AER meetings in due time.
Yours sincerely,
Mathieu Mori
Secretary-General
