You’d like to develop a project with other regions around the bioeconomy but don’t know where to start? We have you covered: the AER Secretariat gathered close to 100 opportunities for you and is willing to help you, be it for the development of a project, helping you find reliable partners, or to organise information sessions on specific tools or calls!
Interregional collaboration made easy
The AER Working Group on the Bioeconomy was created to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experience and best practices between regions in wider Europe.
Members of the working group expressed interest in collaborating via EU-funded projects. In order to encourage and support such collaboration, the working group suggested the organisation of a matchmaking activity between regions working on the bioeconomy and skills.
Step 1: mapping of calls for EU-funded projects
To help regions find partners and support collaboration, the AER Secretariat carried out an extensive mapping of calls for EU projects, support mechanisms and tools that are relevant to the priorities of the AER Working Group on the Bioeconomy.
The mapping includes calls under Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, information on future openings under different Interreg programmes as well as the LIFE programme. In total we gathered over 70 currently open or soon to be opened calls.
Specific knowledge tools are also included in the mapping such as a scenario exploration tool, a study on education, training and skills across the bioeconomy, and an overview of funding instruments for upskilling and reskilling for 2021-2027.
Step 2: tell us what you are doing, what you plan, how we can help
We prepared an easy to fill-in form, where you can tell us until 31 July 2023, if:
- you are developing a project related to the Bioeconomy & Skills
- you are looking for other partners
- you would like the AER Secretariat to support you in one way or another (AER members only)
- you would like to pitch a project idea to other members of the Working Group on the Bioeconomy
- you would be interested in an information session on one of the tools listed
Step 3: We get in touch with you
Based on your inputs and the deadlines of the calls you are or want to work on, we will get in touch with you directly to connect you with other regions, and/or help you in your project development. Depending on your interests, we would like to facilitate matchmaking and project development meetings, or invite experts to provide further information on specific tools or programmes.
