Alsace region is organising a regional conference to exchange best practice in Alsace, France and Europe, on compensation measures (2nd chance), in Strasbourg, 20 January 2015. It will be the final conference of a 2-year project where actions targeted at young people aged 16 to 25 years old, who have dropped off the radar have been developed.
This project aimed at both spotting and mobilising the early school leavers and in carrying out innovative actions to support them as they embark on a professional path, until they become fully autonomous.

Furthermore, the project aimed at coordinating the local partners’ actions effectively. Different types of partners are mobilised, including social associations and social workers, the local education authorities and justice authorities, employment actors, cultural associations, health associations, sports associations, career and guidance counsellors, family associations, training companies such as the second-chance school.
During this conference, the first outcomes of the regional project, as well as different practices in Alsace, France and Europe will be presented.
