AER as well as 25 other main partners and 20 associates from 18 EU and 17 non EU-countries gathered on 21-22 February in Modena, Italy, for the first Steering Committee of the partners of the project “LADDER – Local Authorities as Drivers for Development Education and Raising awareness”. Funded by EuropeAid and led by the Association of Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA), LADDER is an ambitious 3-year-project aiming at raising awareness and strengthening the capacity of associations of local authorities and civil society organizations to act in a sustainable way as drivers for development. The aim is to foster their role of multipliers within their countries, communities and networks in order to develop a multi-level active engagement in global challenges. Stay tuned to find out more on what AER has already planned for 2015!
