AER President @2013 GA of CALRE

On 21-22 October, AER President Dr Hande Özsan Bozatli attended the General Assembly of the Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies (CALRE) in Brussels at the regional parliament of Brussels-Capital.

Dr Hande Özsan Bozatli, who had been invited by Françoise Dupuis, President of CALRE and President of the Brussels-Capital Parliament, demonstrated AER’s will to cooperate closely with regional parliaments in order to strengthen the voice of regions in Europe. As both networks share similar interests in the fields of subsidiarity, regional democracy, youth participation or equal opportunities, a closer cooperation is planned based on a jointly signed Memorandum of Understanding.
