The Europa-Forum Wachau was founded in 1994 on the occasion of Austria’s accession to the EU. Since then, the aim has been to promote the topic of Europe and to communicate it passionately to the citizens.

Since 1995, 26 Prime Ministers and 32 Foreign Ministers, 3 Commissioners and over 10,000 guests have taken part in the Europa-Forum Wachau in addition to one President.

For 2019, a new format has been developed which focuses on youth,
innovation and megatrends.

The Europa Forum Wachau will take place on 13 – 15 June 2019

AER’s member region Lower Austria, through an Erasmus+ project, is in a position to offer scholarships to participate in the Forum to participants coming from France, Austria, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary.

AER is supporting Lower Austria in the call to recruit a delegation of 7 youth participants (aged between 18-30 years) + 1 adult (coordinator)
