The AER Presidium and Bureau met in Alba County from 21-22 February 2013, in the Romanian city of Alba Iulia. Hosted in a recently renovated medieval fortress, the 50 regional representatives present took some key decisions for the AER in 2013. The Bureau members voted and agreed on a revised budget, adopted the political priorities for the year, confirmed the organisational chart proposed for the General Secretariat’s structure and settled some outstanding issues for the upcoming General Assembly (16-18 May in Ile-de-France-F). At this occasion, AER President Michèle Sabban and the President of Alba County Council, Ion Dumitrel, signed a cooperation convention which aims at tapping the full potential of AER’s Romanian antenna based in Alba Iulia.
