Vienna “building bridges”

The City of Vienna has just published its annual International Activities Report 2015. The report is driven by the motto “building bridges”, as explained by the Mayor and Governor of Vienna, Dr. Michael Häupl, “Vienna has indeed been actively involved in the building of bridges, especially in international relations, in the 70 years that have passed since the end of World War II. Collaborative projects and initiatives were launched with other cities, especially with the capitals of the Central and Eastern European region, and we have worked to develop joint strategies in an effort to solve problems on an equal footing.”
