The European Parliament has decided to postpone the European Youth Event 2020 following the actions taken by the French authorities in relation to events and gatherings with more than 100 people and in view of the exceptional measures taken in relation with the COVID-19 emergency.

The final decision on the new date of the event will be taken in due course by Parliament and will be communicated as soon it is known and information about the impact on AER’s participation at the EYE will follow.

AER is contacting the European Parliament for further clarification regarding the postponement of the event so we can address every question in a timely manner. 

In the meantime, we advise the AER participants to contact their airline or travel agency to find a solution regarding the possibility of changing the dates (as said, the new dates will be communicated asap) or refunding the tickets.
