On 23 June, AER held in its Brussels premises a joint workshop with the Covenant 2022 for Circular Economy. The working day gave a bird’s eye perspective on the state of play of circular economy in Europe, and was an opportunity to meet the views of the public and financial sectors, with the presentation of  various best practices in the regions to fund projects and initiatives. Following the workshop, the Covenant 2022, the European Partners for the Environment (EPE) and the Assembly of European Regions (AER) will draft a position paper and raise awareness among European decision makers on a number of field of interests for the European regions and for a strong and comprehensive legislative proposal.
