The Council of Europe’s Gender Equality Commission held its 7th meeting in Strasbourg from 15-17 April 2015. High on the agenda was the implementation of the Gender Equality Strategy 2014-2017 with the 2014 Annual Report. The Commission also discussed:

  • combating gender stereotyping and sexism in the media
  • promoting an education free from gender stereotypes
  • women’s access to Justice
