AER Position on the Need for Electric Vehicle Charging Harmonisation

AER considers that electric vehicles will become an increasingly important part of travel patterns, as the transport system is de-carbonised. If fuelled by energy from low carbon sources, electric cars contribute to climate change reduction goals. They will have local air quality, noise and quality of life benefits and can support investment in renewable energy projects.
