Today, on May 9th 2017, AER celebrates Europe Day!

This year, AER’s political priority is a stronger Europe.

Strong European regions are a pathway to a stronger Europe.

We believe that a prosperous, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-lingual Europe goes hand in hand with prosperous regions.

AER provides its members with opportunities to exchange experiences, to share best practices, all aiming to provide capacity building solutions. With this bottom-up approach, AER’s activities and actions make a real difference for Europe and its regions.

Over the last few weeks, and for the next few, we will be shining a light on the achievements of our member regions in the context of AER. We have named this initiative #ShineBright. You can see the list of highlighted regions here.

Today, at the YRN General Assembly in Vojvodina, Serbia, the Youth Regional Network is celebrating Europe Day. Youth from many European regions are meeting the EU Ambassador in Serbia to discuss the future of Europe.
