On 9 October Beat Rohner, from the Canton of St. Gallen (CH), got elected as the new President of the YRN.’’ I was very happy about my election. Naturally, this new function means also a big responsibility’’ says BeatRohner, describing how he felt about his new role.

The newly elected YRN president is a political science and business administration student. Additionally, he is active as Secretary General of the regional Youth Parliament St. Gallen.
In the next months the YRN will be working on a Political Report about youth participation in European regions as well as on a new 5 year strategy.
