We need more youth mobility to tackle unemployment

The Eurodyssey annual Forum gathered the programme’s managers and coordinators, together with interested regions, on 23 -24 October in Valencia (ES).

The upcoming years will be particularly important for regional activities on youth mobility and tackling youth unemployment. Youth Guarantee Plans and the European Commission recommendations towards the quality of internships for young people make Eurodyssey a more and more relevant programme.

In this scope, a discussion was initiated between the programme members and European Institution representatives on the opportunities of future programmes and on professional youth mobility in the framework of Eurodyssey.

As the Eurodyssey Presidency of Ile-de-France (FR) is coming to an end in June 2015, AER will launch a call for applications by the end of 2014. If your region is interested in taking over the Presidency and the Secretariat of the programme, please contact the AER Secretariat.
