With the occasion of the European Week of Regions and Cities, an annual Brussels-based four-day event AER will organise the workshop “Regions and cities for climate and energy transition: A joint exercise”. This will enable officials from regions and cities’ administrations, as well as experts and academics to exchange good practices and know-how in the field of regional and urban development and to bring forward their regional expertise in this specific area.

This workshop will focus on how Regions and Cities are increasing their engagements on climate and energy in the post-2020 perspective, by exchanging experiences and good practises among partners and participants. It is called “a joint exercise” because the content is designed in a way to be fully transferable to other regions and cities encouraging networking and capacity building.
