PEACE 25: Everyday Peacemakers Conference — PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED!

To mark the 25th anniversary year of the Belfast Good Friday Agreement, the Assembly of European Regions (AER) invites you to join its PEACE 25: Everyday Peacemakers High-Level Conference in Leuven, Belgium on the 9th of June.
Organised in partnership with the International Fund for Ireland and hosted by the Irish College Leuven, the Conference will focus on community-based Peace and Reconciliation initiatives in Ireland and across Europe.
We are delighted to announce that European Commissioner and former Vice-President of the European Parliament, Mairead McGuinness, will open the Conference on 9 June.
The AER invites its members and partners to join seminars with leading experts and practitioners on the following themes:
- Support for Peace and Reconciliation initiatives;
- Women’s leadership in peace-building;
- Cultural and community-based initiatives for reconciliation.
