About this Amending Process
This consultation aims to invite all AER members to offer their amendment proposals to the Draft Position on Democracy.
The Task Force on Democracy is chaired by the Region of Örebro (SE). This position paper addresses the main aspects for fostering good democratic governance and strengthening democracy in AER member regions.
To make these proposals stronger, the Task Force is inviting AER member regions to share their proposed changes to the Draft Position.
The amendment proposals can be submitted until 8 March 2022.
Suggested amendments will be discussed and voted by Bureau Members at the Spring Bureau Meeting on 24 March 2022.
How to Submit Amendments?
- Please, read the Draft Position Paper HERE.
- Submit your amendment proposals using this online form before 8 March 2022.
- Try to make the amendments as clear and concise as possible, indicating which number line you wish to amend and the type of amendment you use to make (add, delete, or replace parts of the text). Look at the examples provided HERE.
