The World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) are a major worldwide energy event: five thematic conferences, over 100 speakers, 700 participants, 150 poster presentations, in addition to the fair exhibition… AER has been a partner to WSED for the past 8 years: WSED bring expertise, allow for networking opportunities and offer a key platform for AER to pass on the message that the energy transition will happen at regional level.

This year, AER co-organised with the Upper-Austria Energy Agency a workshop on “Implementing Nearly Zero Energy Buildings regionally and locally”. The AER secretariat presented AER activities in the field of energy, with a focus on the peer review methodology. Melville KENDAL, Hampshire County Councillor, presented the Hampshire strategy and policies to improve energy efficiency in public buildings.

The website of the WSED can be found here.
