After 2 years of a multistakeholders project gathering a very diverse consortium, what remains? The final conference of ENGAGED in Eindhoven (Noord Brabant, NL) aimed at looking into the legacy of the project. The visible outputs are a series of roadmaps, which set out milestones and a calendar to support the uptake of innovative solutions for active and healthy ageing in Europe. But beyond that, the project managed to bring together worlds which rarely meet. The mutual learning and co-creation process which followed is bound to last and this is the real legacy of ENGAGED.
