The Executive Board on 1 December 2015 appointed Mr Mathieu Mori as Secretary General of the Assembly of European Regions. Mr Mori has been heading the organisation, as Acting SG, in the time of the transition and implementing the necessary changes to secure AER’s future and sustainability.

With its renewed Executive Board and newly appointed SG, the organisation is ready to start a new chapter in the story of European regions.
