Beat Rohner, President of the AER Youth Regional Network (YRN), participated on 12 May in the Thessaloniki International Student Model United Nations (ThessISMUN) conference which took place at Thessaloniki University (GR). During the event, more than 300 students from all over Europe simulated discussions of different United Nations bodies, the Council of Europe and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. All delegates represented a different country, discussed together resolutions and adopted them.

In 2014, the AER will also be simulated. Thus, for the first time, an organisation representing regions will be exemplified. Rohner met with the academic responsible of the event, Prof. Paroula Naskou-Perraki, in order to discuss first details concerning next year’s edition.
