The European Business Summit 2014 gathered around 1700 participants coming
from many different backgrounds – think tanks, academics, NGOs, and representatives of
civil society. The Assembly of European Regions is the official regional partner of the Summit
in 2014.

EBS 2014 has opened the debate to focus on broader economic topics that directly affect
European citizens. Independent discussants, as well as 100 speakers and 150 journalists
took part in the debate in over 15 sessions.
