10th edition of the World Sustainable Energy Days

For the 10th year running, AER made sure to be present at the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) which took place in Wels (AT) on 25-27 February, attracting more than 750 participants from over 64 countries. Following its new “6+3=1” motto, this year’s conference offered a full programme of 6 conferences and 3 hands-on events presenting the latest trends, outstanding examples and expertise from a wide range of stakeholders on various topics regarding Energy efficiency in buildings and biomass. Councilor Melville Kendal (Hampshire – UK), Chair of the Working Group on Energy and Climate Change within AER Committee 1 for Economy and Regional Development, presented to a full audience his region’s best practices and experiences on Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) policy implementation.
