Horizon 2020: funding opportunities for smart cities and communities

Smart cities and communities are a key challenge for the society that more and more needs a sustainable development of urban areas. This requires integrated approaches and new, efficient, and user-friendly technologies and services, in particular in the areas of energy, transport and ICT.

In order to get the latest news on funding opportunities that could address this challenge and that regions and their stakeholders could actually use, AER attended an info day in Brussels on the Horizon2020 calls on Smart Cities and Communities. This event was the occasion to learn more about the call content and the application procedure and AER is happy to share them with it member regions and partners.
