On 10 October 2024, the heart of Fribourg will be pulsating to the rhythm of the bioeconomy.
The Fribourg Development Agency is organising the Bioeconomy Forum, an exclusive event bringing together people involved in the production and processing of bioresources at cantonal, national, and international level.
Fribourg is a member of the AER Working Group on the Bioeconomy and is inviting all AER members interested in Bioeconomy innovation to join this unique event.
Participants will discover state-of-the-art research, as well as new economic and political initiatives in the bioeconomy, a sector that aims to develop the use of plant and animal-based raw materials for nutrition, as well as for the development of new molecules and bio-sourced products with high added value.
The programme of the Bioeconomy Forum features international presentations, round-table discussions, flash talks of innovative projects, and visits to specialised institutes. It will moreover outline the tools and support available to SMEs and start-ups, as the bioeconomy is one of the focal points of the canton of Fribourg’s economic development strategy.
There will also be extensive time for networking during the B2B meetings in the morning, the musical breaks in the afternoon, and the cocktail reception with DJ in the evening.
