[REGISTER NOW] YRN Online Workshops on Youth Participation | 28 February, 1 March, 4 March 2024
28 February 18:00 - 4 March 20:00
Register now! The Youth Regional Network Thematic Committee on Youth Participation and Governance and the Timis County Youth Foundation are organising 3 interactive workshops for young changemakers!
*The workshops will take place on Zoom. Registration is mandatory for each workshop. It is highly recommended for participants to attend all 3 workshops to benefit from the full training.
The purpose of the workshops is to inform young people about what youth participation entails, and how youth participation models, structures, opportunities, etc. can help them become more involved, active citizens. Each workshop has a different focus, allowing participants to fully familiarise themselves with the concept of youth participation, and to put the newly gained knowledge into practice through interactive activities.
The workshops will take place as follows:
- 28 February, 6 PM CET – The Concept of Youth Participation
- 1 March, 6 PM CET – Formal and Informal Participation Structures
- 4 March, 6 PM CET – Participation and Project Planning
If you attend the three sessions, you will receive an Official Certificate of Attendance, from the AER Youth Regional Network.
Participants will have the opportunity to benefit from mutual learning, share opinions, experience, best practices, collaborate on tasks, and interact with young people from all over Europe.
Both the YRN Committee on Youth Participation and Governance and the Timis County Youth Foundation will facilitate the sessions, provide their input and share their experience. The YRN will also present its Youth Participation Toolkit and explain some concrete ways in which they have facilitated youth participation in the Committee’s activities.
