SUMMARY:Policy learning event on energy and resource efficiency
DESCRIPTION:The Policy Learning Platform invites you to Seville\nAre you eager to meet peers and stakeholders working on energy efficiency and resource efficiency? Are you curious about what the platform has in store for you? Are you ready to share and learn from other policymakers? If so\, then this event is for you. \nJoin us for a policy learning event on energy and resource efficiency on the EU level and in other European regions in Seville. \nTogether\, we will discuss the needs of cities and regions in these areas\, and explore the good practices and approaches stemming from Interreg Europe energy efficiency and resource efficiency projects. You will also be able to engage with and learn from each other and test the services of the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform. \nThe two-day conference will focus on two topics: \n\nDay 1 (17 October): energy efficiency\nDay 2 (18 October): resource efficiency\n\nParticipants are welcome to join either or both conference days. If you are not planning to attend both days\, we do encourage you to join us on Day 1 (17 October) from 17.30 to 19.00 for a joint networking reception with stakeholders working on both topics. \nWe look forward to seeing you at the Fundación Tres Culturas Del Mediterráneo in Seville! \nWho should participate?\nThis event is for: \n\nRegions from EU 28 countries\, Switzerland and Norway\nInterreg Europe project partners\nRepresentatives of the managing authorities of the Structural Funds programmes\nOther policy actors working to improve regional policies in the field of energy efficiency and resource efficiency.\n\nIf you fit under one (or more) of these categories\, register now! \nRegistration and event admission\nParticipation to the event is free of charge. To register for the event\, you will be prompted to join or login to the Interreg Europe online community. Registration deadline is 2 October 2017. \nYou should plan your traveling only once we approve your registration. Travel and accommodation should be covered by participants. Interreg Europe project partners can claim the costs through their progress reports. \nThe Policy Learning Platform aims to ensure participation of all individuals who wish to attend the event. Registrations will be accepted on a ‘first-come\, first-served’ basis. We reserve the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from the same country or from the same institution. We will not be in a position to accept registrations once the event is full\, even if this occurs before the registration deadline.
