SUMMARY:International Migrants Day: Promoting Diversity in Regions
DESCRIPTION:To mark this year’s International Migrant Day\, the Assembly of European Regions and the Region of Catalonia are organising this conference on promoting diversity and integration of migrants at a regional level on 18 December in Barcelona. \nThe Conference will bring together representatives of regional authorities\, high-level institutional officials and other stakeholders from across Europe. \nOur invited speakers and participants will share their experiences and good practices in diversity management at regional level\, including examples of policies\, programmes and projects promoting inclusion\, participation in civic\, economic and political life\, positive intercultural interaction and the sense of belonging. \n  \nParticipant’s travel\, accommodation and food will be covered by AER – AMiD project (see the reimbursement guidelines for more details). \n  \nWorking languages: English\, Catalan\, Spanish \n  \nFor further information please contact Vania (v.freitas@aer.eu) in the AER Secretariat. \n  \nDirect Links\nProgramme \nBackground Note \nRoundtables Concept Notes \nPractical Information \nReimbursement Guidelines
