Fears expressed regarding White House stance on Paris Agreements

AER condemns the stance taken by President Trump regarding the withdrawal of the US from the Paris Agreements.

European regions have, for very long, been at the forefront of the fight against climate change. AER has participated in many Conference of the Parties and very actively in COP21 and COP22 with the aim of strengthening its political message in favour of a sustainable Europe.

AER encourages US States to find ways of continuing their active fight in their own interest and in the interest of the whole world and assures them of AER’s support.
