AER runs a divers set of programmes operating annually such as the AER Summer School or throughout the whole year such as AER’s Eurodyssey programme.
Programmes have been established as they ensure a longterm structure and platform for exchange. Whereas AER’s Eurodyssey programme started already in 1985, other programmes were increasingly added such as the Centurion programme -a capacity exchange programme for politicians and civil servants from newly joined EU-member states, to the AER Summer Academy or the Rur@ct Programme.
Programmes are a crucial part of AER’s work as they provide concrete activities and outcomes for members and increased opportunities for regions to meet and connect.
